Dr. Valentina Faia is an Italian-trained Specialist
Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical
experience across Dubai, Italy, and the UK. She specialises in
neurodivergence, including ADHD, Autism, and Giftedness, as well as
mood and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and sleep
disorders.
Dr. Faia has particular expertise in supporting women through
emotional and hormonal life transitions. She is highly experienced
in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD from adolescence (16+)
through adulthood.
Her clinical approach integrates psychotherapy, medication
management, and lifestyle interventions. She places strong emphasis
on the therapeutic relationship, combining evidence-based practice
with compassionate, personalised care. Dr. Faia is also a strong
advocate for patient empowerment and community-based mental health,
drawing inspiration from the Trieste model.
